Thursday temps to start off cold in Austin before warming into 60s, 70s

Austin’s weather will be sunny and pleasant the rest of the week, the National Weather Service said.

Thursday in Austin will start off cold, with temperatures in the 30s and 40s, but the sun will bring temperatures into the high 60s and possibly the low 70s by the afternoon, the National Weather Service said.

Evening temperatures will return to the 50s.

Friday temperatures will be similar, but Saturday and Sunday are expected to be warmer, the weather service said. Saturday morning will start in the high 40s and eventually warm up into the 70s. Sunday morning will start in the 50s, and afternoon temperatures will rise to a high of 78 degrees.
